Shipping Fees & Customs Duties

We ship internationally via reliable carriers such as DHL, DPD, and Royal Mail. Please note that shipping fees shown at checkout do not include any customs duties, taxes, or import charges that may be applied by your country’s customs authorities.

Customer Responsibility

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by their country. These costs are not included in your checkout total and must be paid by the recipient to release the shipment from customs.

If duties and taxes are prepaid at checkout, they are remitted directly to your local customs authority. As such, these fees are non-refundable through us. If you wish to request a refund for these charges, please contact your country’s customs office directly with a copy of your order invoice.

Unclaimed or Refused Shipments

If you refuse to pay customs charges or fail to collect your order, the package may be returned to us or discarded by the carrier. In such cases, we cannot guarantee a full refund, as original shipping fees and any additional customs or return charges are non-refundable.

USA Tariffs

A Note for Our U.S. Customers

As of today (12.05.25, the U.S. government has adjusted its import policy — reducing tariffs on goods made in China from 145% to 30%, for a limited 90-day window.

This means that even smaller orders — including those we ship from our London studio — may now be subject to import tariffs, simply because our pieces are made in China.

Over the past year, our U.S. family has grown hugely, and we’re so grateful to have you with us. You’ve helped us bring our brand to new shores, and it means the world. We want to keep things honest and transparent — so here’s what’s happening.

For the last four years, we’ve had the joy of working with a small, family-run factory in China that brings our resortwear to life with incredible care and craftsmanship. What we’ve built together goes far beyond business — it’s a relationship grounded in trust, shared values, and a real commitment to quality. Changing where we produce isn’t something we can (or want to) rush — it takes time, heart, and the right partners.

Due to the new U.S. policy, starting from 12th May shipments may now face tariffs at 30%. We completely understand that this isn’t ideal, and we’re actively exploring longer-term solutions to minimise the impact.

We currently use DPD, Royal Mail and DHL Express for U.S. deliveries.

  • If you select DPD, you’ll receive an email from Exelot with a breakdown of the customs charges required by U.S. authorities.
  • If you select DHL, the breakdown will come directly from DHL.

Please note these are tariffs made by the US Government.

USA Delivery

DPD Standard - 3-6 Days- £18

DHL 1 Day Express - £25

Please note: Express service does not include weekends.

If you place an order on Friday, your express shipment will be delivered on Monday.

For international deliveries, including to the U.S., please be aware that duties and taxes are not included in your order total. Following a recent policy change, U.S. import tariffs between 145% and 152% may now apply, even on smaller orders.

These charges are determined by U.S. customs and are the responsibility of the recipient.

  • If you select DPD at checkout, you will receive an email from Exelot with a breakdown of customs charges.
  • If you select DHL, you will receive the customs details directly from DHL.

At Bad N Bare, we do our best to deliver within the stated time, but we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by customs clearance or local delivery issues in the destination country. During high-demand periods (e.g. Black Friday or Christmas), delivery times may be extended — we recommend choosing our premium service during these periods for added reliability.

Delivery times are provided as guidance only, and while we aim to meet them, international shipments can occasionally take longer than expected.

Please do not refuse a delivery. Refused parcels will incur both the original delivery charge and the return cost. Any refund processed will exclude these amounts.

Make sure someone is available at your delivery address (home or work) to receive your parcel. If no one is present, the courier will leave instructions to reschedule delivery or collect from a local depot. If redelivery is not arranged within one week, the package will be returned to us, and the original and return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

To ensure peace of mind, we use a signed-for delivery service for all shipments.

United Kingdom Delivery

Royal Mail Tracked & Signed For  2-3 working days - £4.50

Next Day Tracked & Signed For - Order before 3pm any weekday for next day delivery by 1pm - £9.00
